Frequently Asked Questions At this time, I would like to thank everyone for using the COLI Accelerator and answer a few common questions or concerns that you may have. If this does not answer all your questions, please e-mail me at support@torchlake.com and I will be more than happy to help you through any problems you are having. You can also visit this site for more information. Some Questions people are having are listed and Answered below: 1) THE ACCELERATOR IS NOT ANY FASTER THAN MY NORMAL DIAL-UP, IT ACTUALLY
MAY BE SLOWER, WHAT AM I DOING WRONG? First, make sure that there is an icon for it on the bottom right of your screen. The icon will be a white square with a very small logo in it. You can make sure you are looking at the correct one by placing the cursor over it and making sure it says "COLI Accelerator". If it is not there, then it is not installed. Give us a call and we will help you install it. Second, if it is there and it is red, simply click on it once and go up to "Start COLI Accelerator", while online. This should make it Green or grey and you should see a small popup in the bottom right confirming that it has connected to the server. 2) SINCE I INSTALLED THE COLI ACCELERATOR, MY E-MAIL HAS NOT BEEN WORKING, WHAT CAN I DO TO FIX IT? If you have had problems with your e-mail since installing the accelerator, simply click on the icon on the bottom right and go to settings. Then click e-mail and disable the e-mail accelerating. If the problem persists, reboot the computer. If that does not help, give us a call. 3) IMAGES ON THE WEB SEEM BLURRED SINCE I INSTALLED THE COLI ACCELERATOR, WHAT IS WRONG? If you have noticed the picture quality is much poorer than you would like you have two choices. You do not need to uninstall the accelerator to get the picture quality back. Picture quality is a minor way that the accelerator speeds up websites and it can be turned off or bypassed in two ways. First, you can simply click on the COLI Accelerator icon on the bottom right of your screen and going to settings. Then just change the picture quality right there by moving the slide bar right or left. This will affect the browsing speeds some, so if you want maximum acceleration you might want to try the next step. Second, If you want to keep all the acceleration possible and have the images you want to see on the web still be at a high quality, simply right click on the image you wish to see and go to show original image. (This works for most images on the web.) 4) IS THE FREE TRIAL STILL AVAILABLE? Unfortunately, the free trial has expired. New dates may be available in the future.
